Taste of Iceland is an annual five-day festival in Toronto in its 8th year that showcases Icelandic culture, music, design, film and of course food. At this year’s Taste of Iceland dinner that took place at Toronto’s Leña Restaurante, we had the pleasure of enjoying some unique Icelandic dishes mixed with Canadian cuisine including Artic Char Tartare, Pan-Fried Langoustine Tail and a memorable grilled lamb sirloin.  Chef Fannar Vernharðsson from Iceland was cooking alongside Leña’s Executive Chef, Julie Marteleire to create a special dinner that featured the best of Iceland. Of course the meal was complete with a plated Skyr dessert and tons of Reyka Vodka cocktails. Enjoy our gallery below and you might be on your way to Iceland soon enough.
